We asked the Lockhart Family to tell us why they chose Cosgrove Park. We were overwhelmed by the response we got! Enjoy the blog and thank you to the Lockhart Family for taking time to tell us your story.
During Summer 2018 we decided to visit Cosgrove Park, mainly to see what Cosgrove Park had to offer. We live in Milton Keynes and we had neighbours who had a Tourer on-site and so were aware of how much the family enjoyed Cosgrove Park.
In the past we had enjoyed the holidays abroad but with retirement, ill health, grandchildren and a different way of life, the idea of enjoying a life that was more for us now but included our now extended family did appeal to us. The day we visited Cosgrove Park turned out to be a day we have never regretted. We were fortunate enough to be given a tour by Paul who was so informative and knowledgeable and never once tried to pressure us, I'd like to think we were the quickest buyers because by the time I left the Park, I was part of the Cosgrove Park Community with my own Static. The buying process was fast, efficient and we were helped all the way by Paul and all the staff. I have since upgraded and revisited the process and found the experience exactly the same.
To date we have enjoyed six seasons at Cosgrove Park and enjoyed every single one. As you enter the Park you can't help but notice the well maintained and landscaped gardens, the well stocked shop and outside seating area for coffee and light bites. The Reception area that is welcoming and the go to place for any advice or queries with the nicest , helpful people you could meet. We past the Bistro Restaurant that serves really good food and holds events, the swimming pool that although is outdoors maintains a good temperature and the playground and skate park where my grandchildren love to play.
The water activities are brilliant and I love seeing the speedboat race around and I'm also guilty of laughing when the paddle boarder falls in. This year I'm going to try a catamaran.....wish me luck!
During the Summer months the Marquee is an entertainment hub with everything for everyone with food available and a bar, but Cosgrove are happy for you to take your own if you wish. Easter, Halloween, Firework Display and other events are also funded by Cosgrove for everyone to enjoy and it's all executed at a high standard.
My family & friends love their visits to Cosgrove and we've made so many memories in an environment that is well managed, safe and secure. We also enjoy being part of such a great community of people who all appreciate Cosgrove Park.
Finally I will add that not every day is a busy family day for us as most of the time it's just me and my husband but we love the quietness, safety and security that the Park has to offer us. The views of the lakes I wake up to and the surrounding of nature and beauty is something I get to enjoy for 7 months of the year and I feel very lucky to have this.
