Fishing Lakes At Cosgrove Park

One Of The Regions Most Varied Fishing Experiences
With fourteen beautiful lakes and two smaller pools, The River Great Ouse, The River Tove and the Grand Union Canal within easy walk of the Cosgrove Park. Fishing at Cosgrove Park enables anglers to enjoy some of the most varied and exciting fishing in the area.
Cosgrove Park lakes each cover between one and 25 acres and stock an enviable variety of different fish including: carp and pike to over 30lb, bream and tench into double figures, with good stocks of roach, rudd and perch. Great fishing can be had on the rivers (in season) with chub weighing over 7lbs, roach, dace, bream and a possibility of a barbel.
Peaceful Fishing Locations
Many customers can enjoy exclusive fishing rights in some of Cosgrove Park’s lakes at their own private fishing deck located on their holiday home plot.
Many lakes however, such as the Tench, Pike, Bream, Rainbow, Canada and Perch lakes, are available for all anglers to enjoy from the 35-plus fishing platforms which are located away from caravan pitches. These lakes are also available for night fishing although vehicle access is restricted during bad weather.
Please be aware that Perch, Bream Rainbow and Canada Lakes will be closed to all fishing from 10pm on the Friday evening before a match is due to take place until 2pm the day of the match.
Included In Your Stay
Fishing within the grounds of Cosgrove Park is included in the price of your stay at the Park. All anglers fishing at Cosgrove Park must have a valid UK rod licence which can be purchased at GOV.UK. Fishing tackle can be purchased from the Cosgrove Store & Kitchen.
Fishing Matches
Cosgrove Park has become well known in Northamptonshire and Buckinghamshire, as well as further afield, as having a keen and very well supported customers match fishing scene.
Spaces for each match are offered on a first-come-first-served basis as there are a limited number of pegs available. All anglers must show a valid Environment Agency Rod License and pay the respective £5.00 entrance fee at the Main Office between 9.00am and 6.00pm
Please note that the fishing matches are only open to customers of Cosgrove Park.
